While studying at NTU we had a collaboration with SCP, we were tasked with designing a small piece of furniture suitable for retail. I drew inspiration from the fashion industry, focusing on how items are displayed in shops, particularly caps, which have a distinctive and challenging shape. This exploration of form and function led to the creation of Capped, a furniture piece specifically designed to showcase caps in a visually appealing and practical way.

4 Week Project - NTU Second Year

"Designing a retail-ready furniture piece for SCP pushed me to explore how fashion items like caps, awkward in shape but full of character, could be displayed. That challenge led to Capped, a functional yet stylish solution that bridges display and design."
